Dr. Mary Herget has been the parish musician at St. Patrick's for over a decade. She has a doctorate from the LSU School of Music in harp performance. In addition to being a sought after musician in the civil parish, Dr. Herget is also a teacher of humanities and foreign languages at The Silliman Institute in Clinton.
The Parish Choir sings every Sunday at the 10:45 AM Eucharist and is open to everyone who enjoys singing praise to God. The choir is bolstered by a few soloists from Southern University and LSU. There is short, informal rehearsal on Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM. All who are interested in singing in the St. Patrick's Choir, your are invited to Sunday morning rehearsals. We would love to have you!
Children's Music If any children would like to play the hymn on the piano or using another instrument as the children process to Children's Chapel, please see Ms. Mary after church to get added to the playing schedule. We love our children and want them to participate!
